Senior Backend Developer

Job Title: Senior Backend Developer Location: Karachi, PK Type: Full-time, On-site

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Senior Backend Developer to join our team in Karachi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in backend development, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in designing, developing, and deploying scalable and efficient software systems. The successful candidate will be proficient in a range of technologies, including Java, Node.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL, Microservices, and RESTful APIs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy high-quality backend software systems using Java and Node.js
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements
• Develop and maintain scalable and efficient microservices-based architectures
• Implement and manage databases using MongoDB and PostgreSQL
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs to integrate with other services
• Ensure the highest standards of code quality, scalability, and reliability
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to the improvement of the overall codebase
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues

Required Skills:

• At least 3 years of experience in backend development
• Strong proficiency in Java and Node.js
• Experience with MongoDB and PostgreSQL databases
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs
• Strong understanding of software design patterns and principles

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with Docker, Apache Kafka, and Kubernetes
• Familiarity with Redis, gRPC, and GraphQL
• Experience with containerization and orchestration
• Strong understanding of cloud-based systems and deployment
